Long drive up to Sutton’s Bay, MI on the north shore of Lake Michigan but at least it was a beautiful drive! Old head was destroyed by bad storm (tall fir trees nearby probably contributed to the wild wind). Gin pole job. Job went smooth but little did I know...

This was a fun project at Belvidere, IL last week. I installed a new A802 on top of this Frank Lloyd Wright inspired barn. Windmill is sitting at 60′ above ground and will pump from a 2″ sand point inside the barn. Inside of this barn is absolutely...

This cute little 6 ft’r was in pretty good shape other than needing new Timken bearings, brake work, and new tail lettering. We also installed new service platform, Ash pump poles with new guides, and repaired the very sloppy 50′ Monitor tower . Working...

I rebuilt and installed this 9′ Fairbanks Morse WG. It now stands proudly near Lincoln, IL . It is certainly an odd mill.

This 40′ A602 was heavily entangled in trees and vines in a working cattle pasture. The tree branches probably saved the wheel from being damaged all these years. We rebuilt the windmill and moved it about a half mile to the farmers yard where the windmill will...

After a few months restoration, this 10′ US Wind Engine & Pump (USWE&P) Model F Windmill was erected on a farm near Monticello, IL. I removed the windmill from a farm in Naperville, IL where it originally stood on a 70′ tower. The mill was fully...
